The well-attended presentation by Charles Konsitzke of UW-Madison held the audience spellbound by the incredible efforts made by this volunteer group in locating and identifying, and ultimately repatriating, remains of US soldiers. This project is funded entirely by donations. Words fail to adequately describe the dedication of the participants. However, the MIA RIP website can give you a sense of their efforts and results.

Charles Konsitzke manages the UW Biotech lab when he is not involved with the UW MIA RIP.

The “missing man” table was set up at this presentation in honor of those missing in action. Each item on this table has significance.
